Aims & Scope

ÆPTIC: Journal of Plasma, Bioelectrics & Evolutionary Science publishes original research, reviews, and interdisciplinary studies that advance the understanding of plasma science, bioelectrics, and evolutionary systems. The journal particularly encourages research that integrates physical, biological, and cognitive sciences through systemic, field-based, and coherence-oriented approaches.

Scope of the Journal

  • Phase Network and Phase-field Biology: Investigates biological systems as coherent phase networks, emphasizing phase synchronization, topological transitions, and multi-scale systemic dynamics in physiology, cognition, and biological adaptation.
  • Bioelectromagnetics: Examines interactions between biological systems and both internal and environmental electromagnetic fields, including heart–brain coupling, neural–cardiac coherence, and field-mediated biological regulation.
  • Microbial and Environmental Coupling: Explores how microbial communities interact with geomagnetic, atmospheric, and environmental fields, influencing biological coherence, health, and ecological dynamics.
  • Plasma and Energy-based Interventions: Focuses on plasma- and field-based technologies for medical, regenerative, and environmental applications, with emphasis on coherence-oriented and non-invasive approaches.
  • Evolutionary Systems and Abiogenesis: Develops theoretical and computational models of evolution grounded in resonance, topology, and systems dynamics to investigate abiogenesis, adaptation, and long-term biological stability.
  • Planetary Plasma and Electromagnetic Coupling: Encompasses studies of planetary plasma systems, geomagnetic fields, atmospheric dynamics, and biological ecosystems. Topics include ionospheric–magnetospheric coupling, plasma–atmosphere interactions, space weather effects, and field-mediated biological responses linking geophysical, atmospheric, and life sciences.
  • Computational and Theoretical Modeling: Supports multi-scale simulations and integrative models linking biological, cognitive, and planetary systems through advanced computational, algorithmic, and systems-based frameworks.

Journal Objectives

ÆPTIC aims to promote innovative, coherence-driven research that transcends disciplinary boundaries. The journal fosters cross-field collaboration and provides a rigorous and transparent platform for scientific communication. It supports the development of integrative scientific frameworks connecting plasma physics, bioelectrics, evolutionary systems, and Earth–life interactions.
